About Goldendoodle Report
Who Am I

Goldendoodle Report was built by King James Adjei — a researcher and writer with a deep passion for Goldendoodles and a frustration with how poorly most online resources serve their owners.
King James created this site after spending considerable time researching Goldendoodles and finding the same problems everywhere he looked: content written to rank rather than to help, vague advice without sources, health claims without citations, and grooming guidance that glossed over the realities new owners actually face in the first year.
His background is in research and writing — not veterinary medicine or professional dog training. What that means in practice is that every guide on this site is approached the way a serious researcher approaches any important topic: primary sources first, named citations throughout, honest acknowledgment of what the science does and does not yet know, and plain language that any owner can apply.
The result is a site built on a foundation of rigor that Goldendoodle owners across the US, UK, Canada, and beyond have come to rely on — not because it tells them what they want to hear, but because the information holds up when they test it against their own experience with their dogs.
Our Mission
To help Goldendoodle owners make confident, well-informed decisions about grooming, nutrition, training, health, and everyday care — based on research, not marketing.
Goldendoodles are one of the most searched dog breeds on the internet, yet most of the information available is either too shallow to be useful, too promotional to be trusted, or written without access to the research that actually matters.
Goldendoodle Report exists to be the resource that owners can rely on — at every stage of the journey, from choosing a puppy to caring for a senior dog.
Our Editorial Approach
Every guide on this site is built to four standards.
Research first Every factual claim is traced to a named source before it appears on the page — peer-reviewed studies, official breed standards, or recognised veterinary guidance. Nothing is stated as fact without attribution.
Honest about limitations When the evidence is mixed or a causal link has not been established — as with the ongoing FDA investigation into grain-free diets and dilated cardiomyopathy — this site presents the current state of the research clearly, rather than oversimplifying it.
No credential overclaiming King James is a researcher and writer, not a veterinarian or certified professional. Every health and medical guide on this site includes a clear disclaimer directing readers to consult a licensed veterinarian. This is not a legal formality — it reflects a genuine commitment to responsible publishing in a space where bad information has real consequences for animals.
Built for owners, not algorithms These guides are written to actually help the person reading them. The goal is never to rank for a keyword and send the visitor to a product page. It is to give the owner the information they came for.

Our Sources
Where possible, every guide on this site cites primary sources including peer-reviewed research, official guidance from the Goldendoodle Association of North America, the World Small Animal Veterinary Association Global Nutrition Committee, the American Kennel Club, the ASPCA, the US Food and Drug Administration, and other recognised veterinary and scientific institutions.
We do not cite breeder blogs or pet lifestyle sites as authoritative sources for health, nutrition, or behavioural claims. When a claim cannot be traced to a credible source, it does not appear on this site.
A Note on Affiliate Links
Some pages on this site contain affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, Goldendoodle Report may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This income helps fund the ongoing research and writing that goes into the site.
Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial decisions. Products are only referenced when they are genuinely relevant to the topic being covered — never to meet a commercial target.
