Our Commitment to Accuracy
Every piece of content published on Goldendoodle Report is researched before it is written. This is not a courtesy — it is the foundational standard the entire site is built on.
Founder and researcher King James Adjei reviews primary sources for every guide published on this site. That means peer-reviewed studies, official guidance from recognised breed and veterinary organisations, and data from credible institutions — not breeder blogs, product review sites, or unattributed claims recycled from other pet websites.
Where a claim cannot be traced to a credible, named source, it does not appear on this site.
Our Sources
Goldendoodle Report draws from the following categories of sources, in order of priority:
Grade A — Primary sources Peer-reviewed studies published in academic journals, official guidance from the Goldendoodle Association of North America, the World Small Animal Veterinary Association, the American Kennel Club, the ASPCA, the US Food and Drug Administration, and other recognised veterinary and scientific institutions.
Grade B — Credible secondary sources Guidance from established veterinary practices, certified professional trainers, and reputable breed-specific organisations where primary research is not available.
Grade C — Observational and community sources Documented patterns from Goldendoodle owner communities, used only to illustrate real-world experience and always framed as observational rather than authoritative.
Grade C sources are never used to support health, nutrition, or medical claims. Those require Grade A or Grade B sources only.
How We Handle Uncertainty
Not every question in dog care has a settled scientific answer. Where the evidence is mixed, actively debated, or where a causal link has not been established — as with the ongoing FDA investigation into the potential relationship between grain-free diets and dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs — this site presents the current state of the research honestly rather than oversimplifying it to sound more confident.
Readers deserve to know when something is settled science and when it is an open question. This site makes that distinction clearly on every relevant page.
Author Credentials and Limitations
King James Adjei is a researcher and writer. He is not a licensed veterinarian, certified dog trainer, or credentialled animal behaviourist.
Every health and medical guide on this site includes a clear disclaimer directing readers to consult a licensed veterinarian before making decisions about their dog’s health, diet, or medical treatment. This applies without exception.
This site does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or recommend specific medications. Content that touches on health, nutrition, or behaviour is written to inform — never to replace professional advice.
Corrections Policy

We take correction requests seriously. If an error is confirmed, the relevant page is updated promptly and the change is noted. Getting the information right matters more than protecting any particular piece of content.
Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships
Some pages on this site contain affiliate links. If a reader clicks a link and makes a purchase, Goldendoodle Report may earn a small commission at no additional cost to the reader.
Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial decisions. No product or service is recommended because of a commercial relationship. Products are referenced only when they are genuinely relevant to the topic being covered.

Content Updates
The information landscape in dog care, nutrition, and veterinary science evolves. Pages on this site are reviewed and updated when new research is published, when official guidance changes, or when a correction is submitted and confirmed.
The date of the most recent update is displayed on every category page.
